Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities: Oversee and finalize the preparation and filing of all Income Tax Returns for the organization and its entities .
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end statutory and tax audit processes, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors .
  • Ensure the accuracy and timely filing of all statutory returns, including GST, TDS, and PT, and manage overall compliance .
  • Strategize and approve final replies to complex Income Tax, GST, and scrutiny notices .
  • Represent the company before tax authorities and lead negotiations and discussions .
  • Finalize and present all financial statements ? provisional, projected, and consolidated ? to senior management, ensuring compliance with Accounting Standards and Schedule III .
  • Manage and oversee the entire accounting function, ensuring the integrity and control of financial data in Tally .
  • Develop and implement strategies for tax planning, financial reporting, and robust internal controls .
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the accounts team to ensure high performance and professional development .
  • Technical Skills Required: Accounting Software: Expert-level knowledge of Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime Tax Software: Proficiency in GENIUS, WebGST, or similar tax software .
  • Portals: Extensive experience with Income Tax & GST portals .
  • MS Excel: Advanced skills for financial modeling, analysis, and reporting .

  • Leadership, development, and high performance of the entire accounts team .
  • Providing strategic insights through financial analysis to support business decisions .
  • Continuous improvement and automation of financial processes and compliance systems .

Qualifications

  • IPCC/Graduate (B.Com / BAF / BMS / M.Com or equivalent)
